I strongly believe every boudoir client should leave my boudoir studio with an album. So I have come up with 6 important reasons why every boudoir client should purchase an album with prints, rather than solely purchasing digital images. Make sure to share these reasons with your boudoir clients, or if you are a boudoir client I know this will convince you that purchasing an album is the BEST choice. Digital images may be the easy and cheap option, but it isn’t the best option, and here is why …<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reason 1
ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clients have gone to all this effort \u2013 often purchased new lingerie, had a spray tan, and paid for their hair and makeup to be professionally done. Not to mention, they mustered the courage to do the boudoir shoot!  This is a once in a lifetime experience. Which is why it is important to have a momento to look back on and treasure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reason 2
BEST QUALITY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the best quality prints, with natural skin tone and correct exposure, images should always be printed through the boudoir photographer’s professional lab. Clients need to know that not all labs are created equal!  The local Kmart etc is vastly different in quality to a professional lab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reason 3
HASSLE FREE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It saves the client the hassle of doing it themselves. Sure, clients may intend to print their images, but life just gets in the way.  We all have busy lives and it can be placed at the end of a long to-do list. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reason 4
PRIVACY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having their boudoir photos sent to a professional lab for printing also ensures the privacy of the client’s images.  Boudoir images are very personal, therefore privacy should be top-of-mind for clients.  A professional lab deals with this style of images everyday and understand the need to respect the security and privacy of their boudoir images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reason 5
TECHNOLOGY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Technology is both our friend and foe. Technology changes so quickly. CDs and USBs won\u2019t be around forever. Does anyone else remember floppy discs? It would be extremely difficult to access files on one of those now. Many new laptops no longer even include CD drives. Not to mention, saved digital files can become corrupt over time and hard drives can crash. Think of all the types of technology we currently use \u2013 how many will still be around in 50 years? Whereas prints will last the test of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reason 6
GREAT FOR DISPLAY<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

An album is a fantastic way to display photos while keeping the prints protected. Clients can choose to keep their album in a private spot, or alternatively they might choose to display it on a stand in a bedroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The benefit of using a stand such as this one to display their album means that they can have their images on display, and then easily put them away when someone comes to the house. These stands can be purchased from a discount store, or in kitchen homeware stores where they are often used for displaying plates or recipe books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So there you go.  There are the 6 reasons why boudoir clients should buy an album, rather than just the digital images. I hope these reasons will give boudoir clients some appreciation for the importance of purchasing an album from their boudoir shoot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
